Passivhaus - Is it worth it?

Piers's presentation to a sold out Green Register Bite Size event on 24th November at which he helped Greenheat Sustainable Construction to answer the question - Passivhaus - Is it worth it?  The event was well attended by a range of building professionals who were able to hear from Rich Hatfield of Greenheart how they are using lessons learned from building to the Passivhaus standard in a range of low energy buildings.  Piers's presentation covered costs and benefits and showed how over a 20-30 year period, properly designed Passivhaus buildings will almost always be better value than typical buildings built to current Building Regulations.  He also explained how best to achieve the Passivhaus standard through careful planning, design and construction.
