Planning Permission Granted for New Passivhaus Archive

We have been advising Carmarthen County Council on their proposed new Passivhaus Archive in Carmarthen.

The design is for a new radical low energy archive with minimal plant required to maintain the exacting environmental conditions required for document storage.

The aim is for this to become the second passivhaus archive in the UK.  We have been working with Elemental Solutions and Alan Clarke to implement the lesons learned from the first Passivhaus archive in Hereford.

Full planning permission was granted in November 2017 and we understand that the project is currently out for tender.  We expect to be retained for Pasivhaus advice during detailed design and construction.
