Modelling system with PVSol to advise on system selection.  The modelling enabled the client to select the solar modules which provided the greatest energy output for the lowest price in a setting where space was not an issue. The modelled specific energy output 915kWh/year/kWp, which is the best we have seen.

Energy Assessor

I am delighted to say I have just passed my exam for on Construction Domestic Energy Assessor.  I will get the full accreditation next week having attended a course in January, submitted a portfolio including energy assessment for 5 dwellings and completing an interview.  It's taken 4 months to get the qualification and is reasonably demanding - around 100 hrs.

I am now qualified to produce Energy Performance Certificates for new houses.  What next?  Passivhaus or Green Deal?
